Creamy feta baked with tomatoes and pasta all in one dish!? Are you looking for an easy dish that doesn’t require a lot of work or dishes? You must try this feta tomato pasta bake! This is supposedly the new TikTok pasta. This is an adapted recipe for us gluten-free/fodmappers.

This recipe is so easy. You can step away and do other things while it bakes. What is better than that when you are busy with family, working, weekend to do’s whatever the list may entail!? I literally made this while working on blogging. I always love a recipe where it doesn’t take much effort. My husband loves recipes that don’t take many pans or dishes 😁

What do you need for feta tomato pasta bake?

Start with a large baking pan. You will then need a container of cherry tomatoes, combine those with olive oil and salt, and pepper, and stir around. Next place a whole square of feta cheese in the middle of the tomatoes and bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes, lower the oven to 350 degrees F and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Even those that are not huge chefs/cooks can make this recipe! Also, this recipe when done looks like you would get it at a restaurant and no one needs to know just how easy it is!

Once this tomato and feta are baked, take a spoon and smash the cheese down. This is the fun part! Make sure it’s super squished and then you will mix it all. I also squished all the tomatoes with a fork to combine everything. While the tomatoes and feta are cooking I cooked some gluten-free pasta. My favorite is Jovial Gluten Free pasta( I have found this tastes most similar to what I remember gluten tasting like and doesn’t lead to that glue texture that is a typical gluten-free pasta). You can use any shape you desire. We used a new shape that I found tonight called Caserecce. Once all the cheese is smushed and the tomatoes mixed add your pasta and combine.

Gluten-free Feta Tomato Pasta Bake

Creamy feta with roasted tomatoes mixed with gluten-free pasta! Doesn't get any more delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Jovial Gluten Free pasta
  • 1 block feta cheese
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes or one large package
  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a baking pan with baking spray.
  • Wash tomatoes and place in baking pan. Pour olive oil over tomatoes and add salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
  • Place a block of feta in the middle of the tomatoes. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees F. Increase temperature to 425 degrees F and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  • While tomatoes and feta are baking, make pasta according to the instructions on the box. Drain and set aside.
  • Take a spoon and squish the feta cheese block down. Mix tomatoes and feta cheese, you can leave tomatoes whole or you can also squish tomatoes down with a fork or spoon.
  • Pour pasta over tomato and cheese mixture, stir together to combine, and serve.
